What I really like about Fentimans is that they are a local business, still run by the family of the original founder. The history of the company is a good story (you can read more here) I also love the fact their company logo is a picture of 'Fearless' founder Thomas Fentiman's dog from the 1930's.
We had a picnic this week and Fentimans is just perfect to have in your cool box. My favourite is the Victorian Lemonade but I tried the Rose Lemonade for the first time and this is really good too, It's a really refreshing drink and great for a picnic. But I didn't realise just how many different flavours there are. Harry loves Ginger Beer and Fentimans have made a special Ginger Beer for the Rainbow Trust Bike Ride.
As well as soft drinks there is also a great range of Tonics to choose from if you're looking for a cheeky G&T. I don't often have a G&T but do like them from time to time. The Tonic really makes the G&T and Fentimans Tonics includes a Naturally Light Tonic Water, Pink Grapefruit Tonic, Valencian Orange Tonic (My personal favourite), Indian Tonic Water and the Connoisseur Tonic Water. All really good and very refreshing on a summer afternoon.
Fentimans are teaming up Hanover Dairies to raise money for a brilliant cause. On 29th June Eldon Robson, the Great, Great Grandson of the original Thomas Fentiman and Trevor Hanover, Michael Hanover and Paul Doran from Hanover Dairies are going to be cycling over 300 miles and are trying to raise £20,000 for The Rainbow Trust, a charity supporting families with seriously ill children.
You can donate to this great cause at https://www.justgiving.com/fun
Well, that's all for now.
